Quand on s’ra sourds, muets, aveugles, faudra songer
Peut-être qu’il est temps d’arrêter

Our dirty jeans and our messy haircuts,
Our parents call us tramps.

We don’t like showers too much,
And we don’t complain
About having to sleep in the van.

Don’t have to be disgusted with community life,
You just have to let yourself be driven
By enthusiasm and laughter, and then…
What if that’s the dream life?

We don’t like any government,
We haven’t voted in a long time.
The polling booth is outdated.

We’re big fat lazybones,
Don’t want to work all the time.
We’d rather lie in bed.

It’s really not easy being true anarchists,
You’ve got to know how to be driven
By enthusiasm, and I won’t make a list
Of what’s missing for the dream life.

When we’re on the road,
We slap up dodgy snacks,
A little warm beer, two or three joints.

Then we arrive on stage
And if everyone goes crazy,
We blast all the levels wild.

When we’re deaf, mute, and blind, we’ll have to consider
That it may be time to stop.
That’s when we’ll be real tired,
To quit living the dream life
